Personality Board #9
Why are they called "Personality Boards" and not just inspiration boards, like the others I've seen? Simply, because they're more personal. As much as the artist in me loves details and pretty things, I believe a wedding to be so much more. An honest reflection of your life and your love and what makes you happiest. Further, when I work with clients for their weddings and homes, I start out by casting a vision -- a result that is like a Personality Board on steroids.
Then on more steroids. They're big.
That said, here's another. Isn't it pretty?

What's one piece of inspiration you've connected with but can't seem to tie into your event/interior? Do share! Maybe I'll make a custom board for you.

REAL Radiant Studios Wedding: Kristin & Dustin
Radiant Studios wore a lot of hats in preparation for their day of awesome, taking on responsibility for invitations & programs, floral arrangements, coordination, decoration and tear-down, some photography, creating a website for guests to visit, wreaths and some other handmade projects.
The pictures don't even convey how much stinking fun my friends are.
And congratulations to you guys for being featured on the Budget Savvy Bride's blog! That's fantastic. So happy for you.
Incredibly chill, rolled with the punches, and are crazy about Marvel comics, for crying out loud. I love these guys.

Sneak Peak: Summer Bliss
I had my first faux-wedding shoot at sunrise this morning! Carl Zoch, www.carlzoch.com, and I have entered into a partnership of sorts for a series of these, and I'll tell ya folks -- I'm thrilled.
He sent me only one of the photos he captured this morning so far. This is Tamara, my sweet an always surprising friend, who is not at all a bride. :-)
As I receive more from him, I'll be sharing promptly. Further, I'll give a breakdown for the shoot's inspiration and what we did to be Eco-conscious and cheap in ways you'd never know. That's what I'm here for, as you know.
Note: This dress is for sale! Is not secondhand, so you will be original owner. Handmade by myself from a silk & taffeta blend. Available with or without the embellishments pictured, or I'd be willing to discuss making you your own. Email me at oliveyoudeerly {at} me {dot} com for pricing, size, or any other inquiries!

Bouquet Love - Kristin's Wedding
Her bouquet consisted of the pink garden roses, peach equitarian roses, sage, bay leaf, and aeriostynem. Because of those last three, it had to have been the best smelling bunch of flowers-in-a-hand imaginable. The bridesmaids held white hydrangeas and ivory spray roses with the same greenery. Window arrangements were simple - the white hydrangeas and aeriostynem only. Less is more in that sanctuary, for certain.
Enjoy! (I did...)
And if I may say, without giving too much detail -- a florist can always be bargained with.

Tying the Knot
A snippet from my inbox this morning:
"I am writing because we are interested in featuring you and your husband in a Real Wedding story in the Tennessee area on TheKnot.com."
Shut up. YOU are asking my permission? Done and done, sir!
It's nice timing -- our anniversary is next weekend!
